Israel's electricity consumption from renewable energies surpasses 10 pct in 2022: report


JERUSALEM, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Israel's annual electricity consumption from renewable energy surpassed 10 percent of the country's overall consumption in 2022, Israel's Electricity Authority said Sunday.

According to an annual report issued by the authority, electricity consumption from renewable energy was 10.1 percent of Israel's total consumption in 2022, compared to 8.2 percent in 2021.
