U.S. dollar ticks up


NEW YORK, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar jumped in late trading on Friday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, increased 1.16 percent to 102.9340 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
