U.S. dollar ticks up

NEW YORK, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar appreciated in late trading on Monday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, rose 0.68 percent to 106.6810 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
