Rwanda weather agency warns of incoming heavy downpour, flooding


KIGALI, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Rwanda Meteorology Agency on Friday warned of incoming heavy rains in the month of November that could result in widespread flooding, landslides, and loss of lives and property destruction.

In a weather forecast, the agency said that heavy rains are expected during the Nov. 10-20 period due to a strong Inter Tropical Convergence Zone which is over the region where Rwanda is located.
