Across China: Brazilian musician finds love, new life in China

NANCHANG, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- In 2006, when Brazilian musician and bar-owner Delei Duarte received an invitation to work as a guitarist in China, he did not hesitate to accept.

Duarte, then in his 40s, closed his bar in Brazil and traveled to Datong, a city in north China's Shanxi Province. The following year, he moved to Nanchang, capital city of Jiangxi Province, east China, where he met his wife and started a life that far exceeded his expectations.
