BEIRUT, Sep. 5 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon signed an agreement on Monday with the World Food Program (WFP) to improve agriculture and enhance food security in the country, the National News Agency reported.
The agreement paves the way for cooperation between Lebanese authorities and the WFP in surveying the types of crops suitable for cultivation in different arable regions in Lebanon, according to the report.
