Roundup: Drought declared in parts of England as hot weather persists


LONDON, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- A drought was officially declared on Friday across a large swathe of England, amid a new heatwave and prolonged dry weather. More restrictions are likely to be placed on water use in affected areas.
