U.S. dollar ticks up

NEW YORK, June 29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar appreciated in late trading on Wednesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, rose 0.58 percent to 105.1060 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
