U.S. stocks close lower

NEW YORK, June 28 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended lower on Tuesday.

The Dow fell 1.56 percent to 30,946.99, the S&P 500 decreased 2.01 percent to 3,821.55, and the Nasdaq dropped 2.98 percent to 11,181.54.
