South Sudanese medics acquire practical surgical skills from Chinese counterparts

JUBA, June 16 (Xinhua) -- South Sudanese medical doctors have for the first time learnt basic practical skills from their Chinese counterparts on conducting major forms of surgeries, particularly laparoscopic surgery.

The day-long training was conducted on Thursday by Ding Zhen, general surgeon and team leader of the ninth batch of the Chinese medical team in the department of obstetrics and gynecology of Juba Teaching Hospital.
