Palestinian probe finds slain journalist directly targeted by Israeli sniper

JERUSALEM: Veteran Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was killed by an armour-piercing projectile fired directly at her head by an Israeli sniper, says Palestinian attorney general Akram Al-Khatib.

Akram shared the details based on the Public Prosecution’s report about the killing of the Al Jazeera journalist at a news conference on Thursday (May 27) in Ramallah city, reported Anadolu Agency.
