Russia declares partial ceasefire to allow humanitarian corridors in Ukraine but 'broad offensive' continues


LONDON (REUTERS): Russian forces will stop firing at 10am Moscow time (3pm Malaysian time) on Saturday (March 5) to allow humanitarian corridors out of the Ukrainian cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha, says Russia's defence ministry, Interfax reported.

"From 10am Moscow time (3pm Malaysian time), the Russian side declares a ceasefire and the opening of humanitarian corridors to allow civilians to leave Mariupol and Volnovakha," Russian news agencies quoted the Russian defence ministry as saying.
