KINSHASA (Reuters) - Democratic Republic of Congo's environment ministry has suspended the director of the nature conservation agency responsible for protecting the country's UNESCO-listed national parks, an official letter shared widely online on Sunday showed.
There was no immediate comment from the environment ministry, but a senior government official confirmed the suspension of Cosma Wilungula, director of the Congo Institute for Nature Conservation (ICCN).
