LUSAKA, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Non-profit organization iSanitize working in hygiene, sanitation, and humanitarian sectors has urged lawmakers to come up with a policy that will ensure the provision of free sanitary pads in schools.

Executive Director Jacqueline Chishimba said lawmakers should sign a contract with the organization to ensure that they will formulate a policy to provide free sanitary pads after the August 2021 general elections and end menstrual poverty among female learners in Zambian schools.
