U.S. stocks end mixed in choppy trading


NEW YORK, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks finished mixed in the volatile session Monday, as Wall Street braced for a busy week of earnings reports.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 36.98 points, or 0.12 percent, to 30,960.00. The S&P 500 rose 13.89 points, or 0.36 percent, to 3,855.36. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 92.93 points, or 0.69 percent, to 13,635.99.
