U.S. dollar ticks down


NEW YORK, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar slipped in late trading on Thursday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, was down 0.40 percent to 90.1200 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
