TRIPOLI, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Libya's Ministry of Education on Wednesday decided to close all schools in the country for two weeks to avoid COVID-19 infections.
The decision was made "so that field teams can assess the readiness of all schools" to safely resume study, the ministry said, confirming that only final examinations for preparatory students will be allowed to take place during the two weeks.
