WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices rose on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for February delivery added 62 cents to settle at 52.98 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
