WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices climbed on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for February delivery added 66 cents to settle at 53.57 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
