LONDON, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.65 percent, or 44.37 points, to close at 6,754.11 points.
International Consolidated Airlines Group, an Anglo-Spanish multinational airline holding company, soared 3.30 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Johnson Matthey and InterContinental Hotels Group increased by 3.25 percent and 2.89 percent, respectively.
