HOUSTON, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- The service sector in the U.S. state of Texas grew modestly in December despite the continuous impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the latest report from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas said on Tuesday.
According to business executives responding to the Dallas Fed's Texas Service Sector Outlook Survey, activity in the Texas service sector returned to positive territory in December. "The revenue index, a key measure of state service sector conditions, rose from -0.7 in November to 4.2 in December, indicating a modest increase in activity," according to the report released on Tuesday.
