Roundup: Kuwait to launch COVID-19 vaccination campaign; Turkey's tally exceeds 2.08 mln


CAIRO, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait announced on Wednesday to launch the COVID-19 vaccination campaign on Thursday as 148,773 cases have been detected so far. Meanwhile, the total number of positive cases in Turkey exceeded 2.08 million.

Kuwait's COVID-19 cases increased by 266 to 148,773 on Wednesday, while the death toll rose by one to 924.
