U.S. college music festival to celebrate China's affiliation with Western classic music


WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- The U.S.-China Music Institute of the Bard College Conservatory of Music is to explore China's affiliation with Western classical music by celebrating Beethoven's legacy in December.

"China Now Music Festival 2020, China and Beethoven," will explore the many ways that China has embraced, interpreted, and enthusiastically appreciated the composer and his works, the institute said in a press release.
