COVID-19 test positivity rate in NYS "micro-cluster" focus areas trends higher: governor

NEW YORK, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 test positivity rate in New York state's "micro-cluster" focus areas, where the pandemic has been the most severe, reached 3.18 percent on Saturday, compared with 2.58 percent one day earlier, tweeted Governor Andrew Cuomo on Sunday.

The statewide positivity rate excluding the "micro-cluster" areas was 1.06 percent, down from 1.13 percent on Friday, he said.
