LONDON, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.08 percent, or 4.57 points, to close at 5,889.22 points.
International Consolidated Airlines Group, an Anglo-Spanish multinational airline holding company, soared 6.85 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Informa and Melrose Industries increased by 4.62 percent and 3.74 percent, respectively.
