LONDON, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.59 percent, or 34.93 points, to close at 5,884.65 points.
International Consolidated Airlines Group, an Anglo-Spanish multinational airline holding company, soared 4.41 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Informa and Standard Chartered increased by 2.65 percent and 2.38 percent, respectively.
