Ethiopia's confirmed COVID-19 cases pass 85,000 mark


ADDIS ABABA, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Ethiopian Ministry of Health on Monday announced that the country's total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases hit 85,136, after 841 new cases were reported.

According to the ministry, the new cases were discovered out of 5,997 COVID-19 medical tests in the east African country conducted in the last 24 hours.
