BRUSSELS, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- European Commissioner-designate for Financial Services, Financial Stability and the Capital Markets Union, Mairead McGuinness, told the European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs on Friday that her approach to financial issues "puts people at front and center."
During her introductory speech at the hearing, McGuinness shared her vision for the future role as commissioner, should members of the European Parliament endorse her, and debated over financial questions for three hours.
