FRANKFURT, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index down 215.11 points, or 1.65 percent, to close at 12,842.66 points.
Housing association Vonovia lost the most among the blue chips, down by 6.38 percent, followed by housing association Deutsche Wohnen and energy group RWE, which lost 5.87 percent and 4.37 percent respectively.
