Argentina submits terms of debt renegotiation deal to U.S. SEC


BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Argentina on Monday formally submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) the terms of its debt renegotiation agreement with private creditors over the country's more than 66 billion U.S. dollars in foreign debt.

Argentina's Ministry of Economy said in a statement that the text also gives creditors until Aug. 28 to comment on the deal.
