Ethiopia reports record 1,652 daily COVID-19 cases

ADDIS ABABA, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopia's confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 28,894 after 1,652 new COVID-19 positive cases were confirmed on Saturday, the country's Ministry of Health said.

This is so far the highest daily increase in the Horn of Africa country.
