Oman's sultan pardons 433 prisoners, including 217 foreigners


MUSCAT, July 28 (Xinhua) -- Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Said on Tuesday issued a royal decree to pardon 433 prisoners ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday.

The pardoned prisoners include 217 foreigners, said a statement released by the Royal Oman Police.
