LONDON, July 20 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.46 percent, or 28.78 points, to close at 6,261.52 points.
Aveva Group, a British multinational information technology company, soared 2.77 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Polymetal International and Rightmove increased by 2.54 percent and 2.12 percent, respectively.
