KIEV (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama has lent his support to Ukraine's initiative for an international aid mission to the city of Luhansk under the aegis of the Red Cross and with the participation of the European Union, Russia, Germany and other countries, the Ukrainian presidential press service said on Monday.
Obama expressed his support in a phone call with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, it said.
