ALERT: Scam site using The Star images, logo


PETALING JAYA: Star Media Group Bhd (SMG) has been alerted to a scam site and Facebook advertisements illegally using the company’s images, templates and logo.

The site has also posted a fake news item quoting former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as promoting “a new cryptocurrency auto-trading program called Bitcoin Loophole.”
