Police: Viral video of motorcyclist killed by falling debris is from Jakarta, not Klang

KLANG: Allegations that a motorcyclist died after he was hit by falling debris near Klang Parade are not true, say police.

"The police deny claims that a fatal accident occurred after a piece of metal fell from an LRT/MRT station construction site near Klang Parade as alleged on social media.

"The incident actually occurred in Jakarta, Indonesia on Sept 27," said North Klang OCPD Asst Comm Nurulhuda Mohd Salleh in a statement on Tuesday (Sept 29).
