China gets World Bank approval of loan for water supply and sanitation project

BEIJING: China has received the World Bank's approval for a loan of 89.1 million euro (US$99.07mil) for a water supply and sanitation public private partnership project in the city of Deyang, Sichuan Province.

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) confirmed the approval at its website on Sunday (March 15), hailing the move a positive outcome of China's international cooperation with financial organisations of the world in the PPP sector.
