KOTA BARU: Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan led 767 people who received awards and medals in conjunction with the 57th birthday of the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V, on Tuesday (Sept 29).
Ramanan received Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (SJMK), which carries the title Datuk.
The other recipients of the SJMK were Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, Silkway Group executive chairman Datuk Daniyar Kessikbayev and Le Mercier's Capital chief executive officer Datuk Leon
Emil Le'Mercier.
A total of 45 people were awarded the title Datuk at the investiture at Istana Balai Besar here.
They included Chief of Defence Forces Gen Tan Sri Malek Razak Sulaiman and Chief of Army Gen Tan Sri Azhan Md Othman, who were each conferred the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (SPKK).
Deputy secretary-general of Treasury (Management) at the Finance Ministry Datuk Seri Ab Rahim Ab Rahman received the Ahli Yang Pertama (Seri Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (SPSK).
Six people received the Ahli Yang Kedua (Dato Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DJMK). They were Konsortium E-Mutiara Bhd executive chairman Che Ibrahim Che Ismail, Rising Promenade Sdn Bhd group CEO Datuk Farisah Mohd Farid, Haji Ali Homes Sdn Bhd director Muhammad Ridzwan Shamsudin, Honorary consul of The Gambia to Malaysia Tengku Shamsulbhari Tengku Azman Shah, Kelantan Dewan Muslimat PAS treasurer Wan Ubaidah Omar and Chetok assemblyman Zuraidin Abdullah.
Seven people received the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Dato Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia (DJMK), including Asianmax Corporation Sdn Bhd director Lim Yoke Eng, Mahligai E&C Sdn Bhd director Mohd Zaid Osman and Ampang Medical Practice medical director Datuk Dr KK Prakash Rao.
Sultan Muhammad V also awarded the Ahli Yang Kedua (Dato Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (DPKK) to Assistant Chief of Staff D/A Army Headquarters, Intelligence Division (G2), Maj Gen Faridhulathroth Hashim.
Malaysian Armed Forces Headquarters Operations and Training Division Commander Maj Gen Mohamad Nizam Abdul Manap and Headquarters Commander of the 4th Infantry Division Maj Gen Mohd Shauari Mat Piah were among the recipients of the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Dato Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Kesateria Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Perkasa (DPKK).
Twelve individuals received the Ahli Yang Kedua (Dato Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK), including Universiti Sains Malaysia Specialist Hospital director Prof Datuk Dr Ab Rahman Izaini Ghani @ Ab Ghani, Higher Education Ministry secretary Azhar Mohamad Yusof, Kuala Lumpur Court Complex High Court Judge Mahazan Mat Taib, Deputy Director-General of Public Service (Development) Datuk Dr Mohd Bakhari Ismail and Kelantan Irrigation and Drainage Department director Dr Siti Fairus Zakaria.
Meanwhile, Persiaran Rimba Permai flood management director Marenawati Abd Malek, Yayasan Islam Kelantan director Shamsul Abu Bakar, Putrajaya Corporation vice-president (urban planning) Datin Salmah Salman and Universiti Sains Malaysia Medical Sciences Programme lecturer Prof Dr Zilfalil Alwi were each conferred the Ahli Yang Kehormat Yang Kedua (Dato Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang (DPSK).
The sole recipient of Ahli Yang Kedua (Dato Paduka) bagi Darjah Kebesaran Jasa Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Setia (DPJK) was Bukit Aman Special Branch E1 deputy director Datuk Mohd Hairuddin Che Hamid.
