PETALING JAYA: The Election Commission (EC) is set to hold a special meeting on Oct 7 to decide key dates for the 16th Melaka state election following the dissolution of the state assembly.
It said EC chairman Datuk Seri Ramlan Harun will chair a meeting to discuss the election writ, nomination day, polling day and the electoral roll to be used, among other preparations.
“We will hold a media conference immediately after the special meeting,” the EC said in a statement yesterday.
