JOHOR BARU: Police have issued 103 summonses against foreign nationals who violated traffic laws, including driving without a valid licence.
Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Radin Ramlan Radin Taha said 53 foreigners were issued the summonses during an integrated operation conducted in the area from last Sunday (Sept 13) to Thursday (Sept 17).

“The operation focused on foreign motorists and motorcyclists, during which 53 summonses were issued against those driving without a licence, 44 for violation of road tax and six for other traffic offences.
“The vehicles involved were 47 motorcycles, four cars, a lorry and a multi-purpose vehicle,” he said in a statement on Friday (Sept 18).
He urged road users, including foreigners, to abide by the law and traffic rules to ensure everyone’s safety.
