Cops issue 34 traffic summonses to foreigners in Kota Tinggi


KOTA TINGGI: Police have issued 34 summonses to foreign nationals for various traffic offences and seized 18 vehicles.

Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Yusof Othman said the summonses were issued during a traffic operation conducted in the town area from 7am to 10am on Friday (Sept 11).

“Aside from the summonses, we also seized 15 motorcycles and three cars driven by the foreigners.

“The operation focused on foreign nationals who rode and drove the vehicles to ensure they complied with the traffic rules and regulations,” he said in a statement.

Supt Yusof said such operations would be conducted from time to time to improve the safety of all road users.
