Foreigner held for scratching seven cars in KL mall


KUALA LUMPUR: A man who went on a vandalism spree and damaged cars in an upscale shopping mall here has been arrested.

Acting Dang Wangi OCPD Supt Nuzulan Mohd Din said that the suspect, a 34-year-old foreigner, was arrested on Wednesday (Sept 9) after he allegedly scratched seven cars in the mall.

"He has been remanded until Monday (Sept 14) for further investigations.

"The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief causing loss or damage," he said on Thursday (Sept 10).
