ACTRESS Uqasha Senrose has urged viewers not to judge her drama Madu atau Racun solely from edited clips circulating on social media, following criticism of her personal life and daughter, Berita Harian reported.
She said the viral clips did not reflect the drama’s complete storyline and called on viewers to watch until the final episode before making conclusions.
“Do not be so quick to judge as though there is no tomorrow, to the point of touching on personal matters,” she said in a social media post.
In a separate post, Uqasha expressed disappointment that the backlash had involved questions about Islam and comments concerning her child, describing them as excessive.
The criticism followed the circulation of clips allegedly touching on LGBTQ issues, prompting some parties to call for the iQIYI production to be withdrawn for purportedly conflicting with Malaysian culture and religious values.
The drama, starring Uqasha, Aliff Aziz and Elisya Sandha, follows Azura, whose marriage is tested when her husband Adli takes Nikita as his second wife and brings both women under one roof.

The unanimous decision also overturned a Shah Alam High Court ruling sentencing Yasin, whose full name is Muhammad Yasin Sulaiman, to life imprisonment and 16 strokes of the cane after convicting him on three drug-related charges.
