PKR National Congress: We may have lost the battle, but we will win the war, says Fuziah

AYER KEROH: PKR may have lost the battle, but it will win the war, says Datuk Fuziah Salleh.

The PKR secretary-general said during her opening address at the party’s national congress on Saturday (Aug 15) that the party must have the courage to rise again and not let its setbacks erase its future.

“We will stand up, we will rise again, and we will return with idealism, discipline, principles and the spirit of reformasi.

“We may have lost the battle, but we will win the war,” she added.

The party congress comes at a time when PKR is grappling with the departure of former leaders, losing three parliamentary seats due to the resignations of former MPs, and a streak of dismal showings in the recent Negri Sembilan and Johor state elections.

The 2026 PKR congress culminates on Sunday (Aug 16).
