AYER KEROH: Discussions are open on calls by six PKR branches in Negri Sembilan for Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun to step down, says PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said he had been informed about the letters submitted by the six branches, although he had yet to receive them.
“Letters are normal. I have not received them yet, but I have been informed.
“There is no problem; we can discuss it,” he said during a doorstep interview at the 2026 PKR National Congress on Saturday (Aug 15).
It was reported that six PKR branch chiefs in Negri Sembilan had allegedly sent a letter to Anwar, calling on the party to review Aminuddin’s leadership as the state leadership council chairman.
The request was allegedly made by the Jelebu, Rembau, Seremban, Rasah, Kuala Pilah and Tampin branch chiefs, who said the move was necessary to strengthen the party’s organisation in the state following its defeat in the recent Negri Sembilan state election.
