Woman crashes into KK airport after accidentally hitting accelerator instead of brake


KOTA KINABALU: A woman was injured after she is believed to have accidentally crashed into the Kota Kinabalu International Airport here Friday (Aug 7) evening.

It is learnt that the woman had accidentally stepped on the accelerator pedal when she wanted to brake, causing the car to ram into the glass doors in the 4.20pm incident.

The woman was later taken to the hospital for treatment.

No one else was hurt in the incident.

Kota Kinabalu OCPD Asst Comm Shahrudin Mat Husain confirmed the incident.
