Work still under way on PMX AI avatar after brief social media debut, says Anwar

CYBERJAYA: Work is still under way on the PMX AI avatar following its brief appearance on social media, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"We are still working on it. I was just trying it (out)," Anwar said on Tuesday (July 28) after launching AI Malaysia.

He was responding to questions regarding the PMX AI avatar, which was taken down less than 24 hours after being posted online.

Launched as his digital twin, PMX AI was temporarily taken offline, reportedly for system upgrades and improvements.

The initiative was designed to allow users to ask questions while sharing their views, concerns and aspirations directly with the Prime Minister's digital twin.

PMX AI was developed by technology company Zetrix AI under the Avatar.inc platform.

The artificial intelligence (AI) system was specifically trained using written documents, speech transcripts and government policy records introduced throughout Anwar's tenure in office.
