PETALING JAYA: Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has begun serving letters of demand (LOD) on those he accused of twisting and manipulating his remarks, with more legal notices expected to follow.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday (July 28) morning, Muhammad Sanusi said his legal team was handling the notices and that more individuals were on the list.
“The delivery of these LODs is being handled by the legal team. There are many more on the list to receive similar notices, with demands appropriate to their ‘intentions and wishes’.
“They twisted my words, added things that were never said, commented based on distorted sources without checking, and manipulated my speech beyond its actual meaning.
“Hopefully, this will serve as a lesson to everyone,” he said.
The notice concerned a TikTok video allegedly uploaded on July 24 following Muhammad Sanusi’s speech in Jempol, Negri Sembilan.
Muhammad Sanusi had earlier said he would file lawsuits and lodge police reports against those accused of manipulating his remarks for political purposes.
