Negri polls: Ramanan, Sim among leaders backing six Pakatan candidates at Wisma MBS

SEREMBAN: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president and Sungai Buloh MP Datuk Seri R. Ramanan was at the nomination centre at the Seremban City Council Building (Wisma MBS) on Saturday (July 18) to show support for six Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates contesting in the 16th Negri Sembilan state election.

He was accompanied by PH leaders, including DAP deputy secretary-general Steven Sim, in backing PH candidates Nor Azman Mohamad (Sikamat), Datuk Muhammad Nazri Kassim (Ampangan), Zarinna Abu Zarin (Lenggeng), Chew Seh Yong (Lobak), J. Arul Kumar (Nilai) and Ho Weng Wah (Temiang).

Ramanan said the turnout of supporters and party machinery at the nomination centre reflected the strong spirit and commitment ahead of the state election.

"We will continue engaging with the people and work tirelessly throughout the campaign period. The strength of the machinery in every constituency will drive efforts to ensure stability and the continuity of development in Negri Sembilan," he said in a statement here.

The campaign period for the Negri Sembilan state election began Saturday following the completion of the nomination process and will continue until July 31.
