MACC seeking Mohamad Faizul to attend forfeiture hearing

PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is seeking to locate a local man to serve him with affidavit documents and secure his attendance at a forfeiture hearing at the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Sessions Court on Aug 20.

In a statement on Saturday (July 18), the MACC said the action is being taken under Section 41 of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (Act 694).

"Mohamad Faizul Kamaruddin, 41, has been unreachable despite efforts to trace him at his last known address at Block B-2-6, Taman Tun Sardon Flats, 11700 Gelugor, Penang,” it said.

The MACC has appealed to members of the public with information on his whereabouts to contact investigating officer Ahmad Nasharuddin Ab Razak at 019-345 4565 or 09-571 6000 (MACC Pahang office), or via email at nasharuddin.razak@sprm.gov.my. - Bernama
